This is a running record of the work Jason and Lena are doing to bring a 1978 VW Bus back to life. She was very close to death's door when we bought her.

We now have a functional vacationmobile that we are taking on adventures. So, this blog has morphed into a travelogue sprinkled with our break-down stories and latest upgrades. Hopefully more of the latter!

Three Hills Car Show - June 3-4 2014

Well, I better get Suzanne's loyal follower (s??) up-to-date on her recent adventures -now that the engine is actually running!

We trucked off to the Three Hills car show in early June.

She didn't win any awards and Jason was reluctant to enter her in the bracket racing but, she sure did attract a crowd.  It's really cool how many people share fond memories of when "they had a bus" or when young kids tell their parents "that's what I want!"


We had a great time, saw lots of awesome vehicles and enjoyed the belated summer weather.
