About the Blog


This is a running record of the work Jason and Lena are doing to bring a 1978 VW Bus back to life. She was very close to death's door when we bought her.

We now have a functional vacationmobile that we are taking on adventures. So, this blog has morphed into a travelogue sprinkled with our break-down stories and latest upgrades. Hopefully more of the latter!

Major wiring!

Well,  I kinda wore out my wiring diagram so I had to make a new one. Colours definitely help!  The main wiring harness is done other than connection at the front. 







Engine just needs carbs, plug wires and exhaust. Woot! Woot!




Oh yeah, the engine bay door latches now too :)

Pretty hot weekend = hot Suzanne!

Here's what we got done this weekend....

Seats and carpet, wheels painted and balanced, gas tank in and Jasper found his peep-hole.
